About Coffee Enlightenment
CoffeeEnlightenment.com was founded by me, Shaun Michaels, a special education high school teacher. The site was inspired by the 4 to 8 cups of coffee I typically drink every school day (black as a rule) combined with my life-long interest in personal growth. Only after I had chosen the name did I learn that “coffee enlightenment” is actually a thing on the Internet and that the drinking of coffee may have actually had a role to play in the advancement of the Great European Enlightenment.
